Role Overview

Anticipated responsibilities include:

• Support daily behavioral health nursing operations and patient care coordination.
• Guide nursing staff in maintaining a safe therapeutic environment.
• Collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary team on patient care needs.
• Support staff development communication and accountability.
• Promote appropriate crisis intervention and de-escalation practices.
• Monitor documentation care delivery and adherence to department procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing.
• At least two years of behavioral health experience in an Assistant Nurse Manager Charge Nurse or Nurse Manager role .
• Active unencumbered Florida RN license or an applicable multistate RN license permitting practice in Florida.
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of employment .
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training within 30 days of employment .
• Completion of the required fingerprinting process.
