Required Qualifications Experience: Television news anchoring – 5–7 years Education: Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism or related field, or comparable television work experience Technical Skills: Experience in live shooting and editing news Skills: Excellent on‑air camera skills, ability to work under pressure Abilities: Leadership skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and proactive problem‑solving, lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds Travel Ability: Must be open to travel to discover important stories in your neighborhood and willing to interact with the community Schedule: Work different shifts or longer shifts due to breaking news and severe weather emergencies, and be able to work weekends and holidays Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a 24‑hour news channel Working Conditions Works inside in a climate‑controlled environment but may be assigned to field duties and be subjected to various weather conditions that could include extreme heat or cold conditions.
