Temporary Payroll Specialist
Virginia Beach, VA
4–5 Month Assignment
Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | Onsite
PeopleShare is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist for a temporary opportunity with a well-established client in Virginia Beach. We need someone who can hit the ground running and support payroll operations with minimal training.
What You'll Do- Process and audit payroll accurately and timely
- Review payroll reports and resolve discrepancies
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and payroll-related inquiries
- Support timekeeping and attendance processes
- Generate payroll and overtime reporting
- Partner with HR and Accounting to ensure payroll compliance and accuracy
5+ years of payroll experience
Strong ADP experience preferred
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required
Experience with Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and XLOOKUP preferred
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
