Welder

We are seeking skilled welders to operate welding equipment and produce high-quality steel and aluminum parts for consumer and industrial storage and climbing units. This role involves setting up and adjusting welding machines, conducting visual and measurement inspections, and utilizing blueprints to ensure product quality.

• Operate welders to produce steel and aluminum parts.
• Set up and adjust welding equipment, replace spool of welding wire and tips as necessary.
• Obtain designated parts from baskets and ensure proper placement on conveyor lines or designated areas.
• Perform visual and periodic measurement inspections to maintain quality standards using blueprints.
• Report any mechanical issues with the welding equipment to supervisor or maintenance.
• Record production output and details on daily reports.
• Operate grinder to remove excess burrs and welding wire as necessary.
• Monitor parts used and notify supervisor of material requirements and shortages.

• Proficiency in MIG welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience in fabrication and flux core welding.
• Welding certificate required.

• Experience in a production welding environment.
• Capability to work in a true production format with multiple stations.

The team is respectful, with an open-door policy from supervisors. Currently hiring for the 2nd shift from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday, including mandatory overtime and weekend hours.

This is a Permanent position based out of McHenry, IL.

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $49920.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
