New equipment is being added, capabilities are expanding, and your voice matters as processes evolve. You’ll split time between hands-on programming and machining, and guiding others to higher performance.What you’ll doOwn complex set-ups and production on multi-axis equipment: 3–5 axis VMCs and lathes with live tooling.Program at the machine and offline as needed; confidently edit G & M code to optimize cycle times and quality.Develop robust machining processes for both prototype and production parts.Review customer RFQs and produce accurate, timely quotes.Coach and mentor machinists; elevate skills across the team.Interpret detailed blueprints and GD&T; verify parts meet specifications through in-process and final inspections.Select and secure workholding, tooling, and cutting parameters; perform daily PM and troubleshoot issues.Champion safety and uphold ISO 9001/AS9100 quality requirements.Schedule, pay, and benefits1st shift, 4x10 workweek with occasional Friday overtime.Benefits: PTO, medical insurance, and 401(k).“In accordance with California law, the expected salary range for this California position is between $40/hr and $50+/hr.
