Dental Assistant

Responsibilities Chairside Assistance: Provide expert support during dental procedures, anticipating the dentist's needs and ensuring patient comfort. Infection Control: Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols. Patient Records: Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment details, in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Polishing Assistance: Support the dentist during the polishing process to enhance patient comfort and safety. Take all required X‑rays and apply fluoride. Patient Communication: Explain procedures to patients and address any concerns effectively. Treatment Environment: Ensure a clean and organized treatment area, restocking supplies and equipment as needed. Requirements Dental Experience: New graduates are encouraged to apply. State of Ohio Radiology License is required. Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Denticon dental software systems is a plus. Effective Communication: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and team members. Strong Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships. Work Schedule Monday through Thursday 7:45 AM to 5:15 PM, with occasional Fridays until noon. No weekends or evenings.
