Ramp Supervisor

Supervise lead agents; allocating ramp agent resources as needed Move cargo and baggage on and off aircraft and transport it between aircraft, airport terminals, air cargo facilities, and other aircraft Ensure that ramp personnel adhere to established company safety regulations Perform as a mentor to other employees and provide training to new employees Some responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems as needed for violations of company policy Complete shift reports and sign timecards Assist in the preparation of performance evaluation forms Prepare disciplinary incident and or termination reports Assist in the baggage handling area Conduct shift briefings to ensure staff is organized and informed Read and interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous material identification labels, aircraft loading manifests, and baggage and cargo routing tags Operate motorized equipment Travel Required Yes .
