Job Details: Ratios: 1:6. Shift: nights 1845-0715; 13-20 weeks accepted 36 or 48 hours 13-20 week contracts accepted. RTO: 7 days. Max Call Requirement: No. Float Requirement: Yes; traveler may be required to float to main campus, NHRMC 32 minutes away. Weekend Requirement: Every other. Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed. Patient Diagnoses: Including but not limited to: Diabetes, dementia, COVID, pneumonia, COPD, sepsis, encephalopathy, GI bleed, anemia, hip fracture, CHF, UTI, various surgical recovery cases, renal failure, hypertension, cellulitis, failure to thrive. Unit Systems (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Pyxis. Scheduling Type: Self. Unit Orientation: 24 hours. Scrubs: Navy Blue or white. Internal Notes: Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty. Hardstop - 2 years of experience; 7 days MAX RTO per contract; Must be able to work holidays; No block schedules unless a weekend block.
