Product Marketing Manager

I'm partnering with an established global life sciences company to hire a Product Marketing Manager who will take ownership of a scientific portfolio spanning epigenetics and developmental biology . This is a genuinely strategic product marketing role. They aren't looking for someone who simply executes campaigns handed to them — they want someone who can understand the market, identify the biggest opportunities and build the strategy around them. What you'll be responsible for You'll have significant ownership across: Product positioning, messaging and value propositions Market segmentation and identifying priority customer groups Voice of Customer and translating customer needs into strategy Competitive intelligence and market analysis Building integrated campaign strategies around key market opportunities New product launches and go-to-market planning Working with R&D on customer requirements and product requirements Developing the foundational scientific/commercial content behind campaigns Sales enablement, training and supporting customer-facing teams Portfolio strategy and identifying opportunities for expansion You'll work closely with R&D, Product Management, MarCom, Sales and Digital Marketing , with particularly strong interaction with the scientific teams. Who we're looking for Ideally, you'll already have experience in Product Marketing or Product Management within life sciences . We're particularly interested in people who can demonstrate experience with areas such as: Market strategy and segmentation Positioning and messaging Voice of Customer Product launches / go-to-market strategy Competitive analysis Translating complex science into a clear customer value proposition A strong scientific foundation is important, but you do not need to be an epigenetics expert . A PhD is preferred but not essential . A relevant Master's combined with strong industry and product experience will absolutely be considered. We're also open to Product Managers looking to move further into Product Marketing , particularly if you've already owned market strategy, positioning, customer insight and product launches.
