Job Overview – Senior Billing Specialist Compensation: $75,000 – $85,000/year + bonus Location: Galena Park, TX Schedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office) Atlantic Group is hiring a Senior Billing Specialist in Galena Park, TX for our client, supporting high-volume billing operations, accounts receivable processes, and financial reporting activities within a fast-paced operational environment. This role will work closely with accounting and operational leadership to manage complex manual billing workflows, reconcile billing discrepancies, and support process improvements across the department. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, highly proficient in Excel, and eager to learn industry-specific terminology and operational processes. Responsibilities Billing Operations: Process high-volume and complex billing activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely invoicing across multiple accounts. Accounts Receivable Support: Partner with the AR team to assist with reconciliations, payment tracking, account research, and billing issue resolution. Manual Invoice Management: Manage detailed manual billing processes and calculations in the absence of an automated billing platform. Financial Analysis: Review billing data, identify discrepancies, and support reporting and analytical initiatives related to invoicing and revenue activity. Process Improvement: Assist with streamlining billing workflows, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing internal billing procedures. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with accounting, operations, and leadership teams to support billing accuracy and client service objectives. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred. Experience: 3–5 years of billing, accounts receivable, or related accounting experience is required. Industry Knowledge: Experience within high-volume billing or operational accounting environments is preferred, while industry-specific experience is not required. Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required, including experience working with large data sets, manual calculations, reconciliations, and reporting. Skills & Attributes: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, communication skills, organizational abilities, and the willingness to learn complex operational processes and industry terminology are required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
