Sales Representative, Small Business Services In this role, you will work within a defined geographic territory that targets clients and prospects with 1-49 employees. You will identify and sign new clients for payroll, tax, human resources, benefits, and more, and sell additional solutions to existing clients. Daily, you will cultivate relationships, set appointments, gather leads from established business partners, assess client or prospect needs to present the best ADP solutions, and spend your time in the field closing business. No prior sales experience is required; ADP provides high‑quality sales training and technology to set you up for success. You will work independently and collaboratively as part of various teams within your assigned geography to close sales, win business, and reach sales goals. In addition to selling cloud‑based human resources solutions, you will strategically cultivate additional business within existing accounts and build lifelong friendships. Collaborate Daily. Required Qualifications Positive Self‑Starter. A college degree is great but not required. Other acceptable experiences include one to two years of work experience or internships in Retail, Marketing, Business Development, Food Service, Insurance Sales, or similar industries, or military experience. Veterans’ discipline, commitment, and problem‑solving abilities are highly valued. Preferred Qualifications Prior quota‑carrying experience. Ability to build a network and effectively use social media for sales. Benefits & Compensation Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation as bonus, equity, or commissions. The compensation for this role is USD $35,900.00 – USD $77,700.00 per year. Actual compensation will not be less than the applicable minimum wage or minimum exempt salary requirement under federal, state, and local laws.
