Mercycare Community Physicians

Registered Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with expertise in Stepdown Cardiac care to join our team. The successful candidate will work nights on a three-night-per-week rotation and every third weekend. This position requires a focus on patient care within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Stepdown Cardiac unit.
Monitor patients and assess their conditions, responding to changes as needed.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal patient outcomes.
Utilize EPIC for patient documentation and management.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and healthcare practices.

Qualifications

Active ACLS and BLS certifications required.
Valid nursing license (single state or compact) required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Stepdown or Telemetry nursing required.
Experience with EPIC system is mandatory.

Shift Information

This position includes three 12-hour night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30, with scheduled blocks to promote work-life balance.
