Our organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to join our team in Cooperstown, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all supervisory functions for the designated unit.

• Assist in the development and execution of employee policies and procedures.

• Guide and mentor junior nurses, providing both clinical and career guidance.

• Ensure that care standards for the unit are upheld.

• Examine Resident records and assess the quality of care provided.

• Monitor overall care and evaluate individual cases of Residents.

• Address inquiries or concerns raised by Residents or their families.

• Advocate for the unit's needs with upper management.

Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid RN License from the state.

• Preferred: 3 years of experience in Long Term Care.

• Preferred: 2 years of experience as a Charge Nurse.

• Proficient computer skills are required.

• Strong communication abilities are essential.
