Quality Control Inspector Lead/Supervisor

Job Description Russ Hadick & Associates, Inc., a 40+ year professional search and recruiting firm, has partnered with a client in the Greater Hartford, CT area to help them search and qualify candidates for their Quality Control Inspector Lead / Supervisor position within aerospace manufacturing. This is a newly created position driven by continued growth and increased production demand. The company is looking to move quickly on the right candidate. Quality Inspection & Leadership Perform final, in-process, and first article inspections on precision-machined components Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements Utilize inspection tools including micrometers, calipers, indicators, and comparators Support manufacturing during production to ensure quality standards are met Lead and provide direction to inspection personnel Complete and maintain inspection reports and documentation Identify and document nonconformances and defects Background Experience – Minimum 5+ years of experience in quality inspection within a precision manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of inspection methods, measuring equipment, and blueprint reading required. Experience in aerospace or other regulated industries preferred. Technical Skills – Experience with CMM (manual and/or DCC) , first article inspection, and in-process/final inspections. Familiarity with quality systems such as AS9100 is a plus. Education – High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical training or certifications in quality or inspection are a plus.
