Start Date: September 21, 2026 Duration: 21 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week Weekend Requirement: Approximately 75% weekends required Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,130 - $2,250 EMR: EPIC ICU RN Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license and a strong ICU background Minimum of 3 years of ICU nursing experience required Experience caring for sedated, intubated, and pressor-dependent patients Comfortable floating to Neuro ICU, Surgical/Trauma ICU, Cardiac ICU, CTICU, and IMC as needed Ability to adapt quickly to different patient populations and assignments Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach Flexibility to support multiple assignments during a shift when needed Responsibilities Deliver safe, high-quality critical care nursing to critically ill patients across multiple ICU settings Assess, monitor, and respond to changes in patient condition with urgency and professionalism Support patients requiring advanced ICU interventions and close clinical observation Float between critical care and intermediate care units based on staffing needs and experience Document patient care accurately in EPIC and collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team Maintain a calm, flexible, and patient-focused approach in a fast-paced hospital environment Promote excellent patient outcomes through strong clinical judgment and teamwork Apply now to join this travel ICU nursing opportunity in Portland, Maine, and take the next step in your critical care career.
