Inventory Accounting Clerk

Location: Scottsdale, AZ
Pay: $21.00 to $22.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Overtime: Required during the first 1 to 3 business days of each month due to month end inventory activity

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail oriented and organized Inventory Accounting Clerk to join our team. This position plays a critical role in maintaining accurate vehicle inventory records, processing inventory related transactions, and supporting accounting and administrative functions. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast paced environment, enjoys working with large volumes of data, and takes pride in maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Enter, update, and maintain detailed vehicle inventory records, including make, model, color, VIN information, and other vehicle specific data
• Assign stock numbers and process incoming inventory transactions
• Support vehicle purchases directly from customers by completing required documentation and system entries
• Collaborate closely with Title and Licensing teams to ensure accurate processing
• Manage dealer trade transactions and related payment activity
• Process lease buyouts, auction purchases, and inventory acquisitions
• Audit inventory records and investigate discrepancies
• Reconcile inventory transactions and account balances
• Maintain accuracy across multiple account numbers and high volume daily transactions
• Assist with process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives
• Perform additional administrative and accounting duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous administrative, accounting, inventory, dealership, or data entry experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage a high volume workload and meet deadlines
• Comfortable working with numbers, records, and transactional data
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel
• Strong organizational, problem solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
