General Anesthesiologist with OB Proficiency - Lakeland, FloridaPosition Type: Full-Time, PermanentAn expanding practice in the Lakeland, Florida area is seeking a skilled and dedicated General Anesthesiologist with proficiency in obstetrics to join their team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing anesthesia services across a diverse range of cases, including OB, regional, thoracic, vascular, neuro, trauma, and outpatient procedures.Responsibilities:Administer anesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures, with a focus on obstetrics.Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative period.Collaborate closely with surgical and medical teams to optimize patient outcomes.Participate in on-call rotations and maintain a favorable call schedule.Provide medical supervision as needed, ensuring adherence to best practices and protocols.Requirements:Medical degree from an accredited institution.Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology residency program.Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology.Proficiency in obstetric anesthesia techniques.Ability to obtain or currently hold a Florida medical license (not mandatory for application).Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.Benefits:Competitive base salary of $525,000.Full benefits package including paid malpractice insurance, health insurance, life, and disability insurance.Eight weeks of vacation time.Retirement plan options.Two-year partnership opportunity.Supportive and collaborative work environment.Opportunities for professional growth and development.Start date: 2026.Office Culture:This practice fosters an inclusive and patient-focused environment, where teamwork and mentorship play a vital role in daily operations.
