What You'll Do As a Medical Assistant, you'll provide both clinical and administrative support to physicians and the care team, helping deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during office visits and procedures.
- Obtain and document patient histories, vital signs, and other clinical information accurately.
- Complete chart preparation and perform final chart review prior to patient visits.
- Coordinate laboratory testing, obtain test results, communicate physician instructions, and notify patients of results as directed.
- Prepare patients for diagnostic testing and assist with office-based procedures.
- Answer patient phone calls promptly and professionally, addressing questions or routing concerns appropriately.
- Schedule appointments and assist with patient coordination as needed.
- Complete referrals and authorizations for procedures when requested.
- Maintain medication sample inventory and monitor medical supply levels.
- Ensure patient records are accurate, complete, and maintained in accordance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
- Provide excellent customer service while creating a welcoming and positive patient experience.
- Support and mentor team members as requested by the Office Administrator.

- High school diploma or GED.
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant certification program.
- Minimum of two years of Medical Assistant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong clinical and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy outpatient environment.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office.
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between clinic locations.
