ONLY APPLICANTS SELECTED FOR AN INTERVIEW WILL BE NOTIFIEDBar Attendants prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and small pre-packaged snacks to customersESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (This list is not intended to detail all aspects of the assigned work but is representative of the job’s overall responsibilities.)Prepares, serves, and sells beverages to include wine, beer, non-alcoholic drinks as ordered and prepackaged snack items.Ensures that all customers are of legal drinking age by checking and verifying photo identifications.Take customer orders in a friendly and timely manner.Ability to utilize a Point of Sale (POS) system.Start and complete transactions using cash, credit, and debit cards.Comply with all state and local food and beverage regulations.Maintains and cleans all bar surfaces and areas maintaining a safe and sanitary environment.Properly clean, sanitize and air dries all glassware.Impeccable customer service and social perceptiveness to include the ability to evaluate customer satisfaction and responsiveness and pivot service as needed.Uses proper judgment and, when necessary, refuses service to patrons who are intoxicated or disruptive.Properly stock the bar throughout the shift with beer, water, wine, and snacks. At the end of shift, ensures the bar is fully stocked and ready for the next shift.Responsible to manage the cash drawer including, beginning of shift and end of shift balancing; drop cash bag into the safe.Ability to work well, exhibit professionalism and interact with others and deal with potentially ambiguous, intense, or emotionally charged circumstances.Read, interpret, and understand safety, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.Performs other duties as assigned.Must be able to work a flexible work schedule to include weekend work, holidays, and in some cases schedule changes on short notice.Maintains a consistent record of acceptable attendance and punctuality according to policy guidelines.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
