Role Description The Technology Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in the Buffalo-Niagara Falls area. This role focuses on selling ATTO's connectivity and infrastructure solutions by identifying customer needs, presenting technical product capabilities, and recommending configurations that align with complex data storage environments. Day-to-day responsibilities includes business development, managing a portfolio of accounts, conducting consultative sales discussions, preparing proposals and quotations, and coordinating with internal engineering and operations teams to support customer designs. The Technology Sales Specialist will develop new business opportunities, maintain strong relationships with integrators, and resellers, and contribute to sales forecasting and pipeline management. The role also involves tracking market trends, participating in product training, representing ATTO at industry events as needed, and possibly higher levels of travel to customer sites. Qualifications Strong skills in Sales and Sales Operations to drive revenue, manage pipelines, and use CRM tools effectively. Experience in Consulting and Business Development to identify customer challenges, craft tailored solutions, and expand market presence. Proficiency in Account Management to build long-term relationships, maintain customer satisfaction, and support repeat business. Knowledge of storage, networking, or data center technologies (e.g., Fibre Channel, SAS, SATA, iSCSI, Ethernet, NVMe, Thunderbolt, Tape) is highly beneficial. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse stakeholders. Ability to work collaboratively with engineering, product, and operations teams and to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
