Palace Renaissance & Royale Assisted Living & Catered Living Community in Kendall, Coral Gables & Homestead is looking for a housekeeper. Located at 11355 SW 84th Street Miami, FL 33173, this CARF accredited community was rated #1 in the US of all communities surveyed by CARF in 2016.

The #1 priority of this position is to maintain a clean, healthy environment for the residents, visitors, and staff that promotes good mental and physical health in pleasant surroundings free of litter, germs, and debris.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Clean rooms, public areas & restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, offices, and other designated areas in and out of the building.
• Keep the facility clean and free of hazards at all times.
• Remove trash to designated areas.
• Ensure equipment and work areas are clean and orderly at all times.
• Change bed linens daily or as needed.

Qualifications:

• Must have at least 3 years of housekeeping experience in a healthcare setting.
• A high school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to communicate in English. Spanish preferred.

The ideal candidate:

• Is responsible, always on time, resourceful, very accurate, and detail-oriented.
• Is flexible as to work schedule. Must be available to work on weekends, holidays, and in emergency situations.
• Can work under pressure and multi-task.
• Is self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently AND as a team member.
• Demonstrates excellent verbal communications, interpersonal skills, and empathetic listening.
