Payroll Specialist

Senior Payroll Specialist A rapidly growing inhome services company is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to take full ownership of payroll for a workforce of 200+ employees and contractors. Reporting directly to the Controller, this individual will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of biweekly payroll while helping support the company's continued growth. This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to evaluate and implement a new payroll platform as the organization scales. Key Responsibilities Own and process biweekly payroll for 200+ employees and contractors Ensure payroll accuracy, compliance, and timely processing Manage PTO tracking and payroll-related records Partner with managers to collect and validate payroll information Handle employee payroll questions and payroll reporting Assist with payroll audits and payroll-related compliance activities Play a key role in evaluating and implementing a new payroll system Help build scalable payroll processes for a fast-growing organization Qualifications Experience processing payroll for a multi-employee organization Proficiency with ADP, Paychex, Gusto, UKG, Paylocity, or similar payroll platforms Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to independently manage payroll from start to finish Experience with payroll system implementations or migrations is a plus Why Consider This Opportunity Own payroll for a growing organization expanding in size, location, and revenue Report directly to the Controller Opportunity to help select and implement a new payroll platform Highly visible role with significant ownership, autonomy, and room for growth Long-term growth potential as the company continues to expand Stable, team-oriented culture with strong executive support
