Exercise Physiologist

Job Details The position involves developing individualized exercise programs, leading exercise sessions, and administering assessments for patients in cardiac rehabilitation. Responsibilities Develop individual exercise programs. Lead exercise sessions for cardiac rehab patients. Administer assessments. Serve as case manager for assigned patients. Provide health education focused on cardiovascular disease risk factor reduction and lifestyle management. Requirements MA or MS degree in physical education or exercise physiology. Completed internship of at least 400 hours in cardiac rehabilitation and ECG interpretation skills required. Experience in clinical research in fitness or cardiac rehab preferred. Minimum six months of exercise testing and leadership experience in cardiac rehab required. BLS and ACLS certification required. ACSM certified exercise test technologist or equivalent experience. Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel. Salary Range USD $30.51 - $45.77 per hour. The salary is based on qualifications, skills, and experience. Additional compensation and benefits are not included in this range.
