Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

As a valued professional working with students from kindergarten through eighth grade, you'll play a pivotal role providing targeted support in a nurturing environment. This position is contract-based and begins on August 20th, with standard school hours from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm across a 37.5-hour workweek.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification
- Experience working with diverse student populations or in Behavioral Intervention (BI) support roles preferred
- Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapting curriculum appropriately
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Flexibility and creativity in supporting students’ unique learning needs
- Dedication to fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction and support to meet the needs of each learner
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure student success
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals tailored to individual students
- Provide direct behavioral intervention and academic guidance to students in the K-8 setting
- Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates on student progress
- Engage with families and caregivers as partners in student growth
A variety of Behavioral Intervention (BI) roles are available for those passionate about student advocacy and support. The school is ready to schedule interviews as soon as next Wednesday between 7:30 am and 12:00 pm, with flexibility for in-person or alternative formats.
