Insurance Sales Representative

Job Description Brandon Reece Agency is seeking a driven Outside Sales Insurance Producer focused on bringing new customers into the agency. This role centers on pursuing leads, making outbound calls, preparing quotes, and following up consistently to earn new business. You will connect with prospective customers by phone, email, and text, learn about their insurance needs, and help them choose appropriate coverage. The ideal candidate is proactive, competitive, organized, and comfortable asking for the sale. Success requires persistence, strong daily activity, and ownership of your sales pipeline. Work assigned leads and develop additional opportunities through referrals, networking, and prospecting. Follow up regularly with prospects and outstanding quotes. Ask thoughtful questions to understand each prospect's current insurance, priorities, and coverage needs. Prepare and explain quotes for auto, home, renters, umbrella, and other available insurance products. Identify opportunities to bundle policies and provide broader protection. Discuss life insurance needs and assist or coordinate with an appropriately licensed team member. Address objections professionally, ask for the sale, and guide customers through the application process. Maintain an organized sales pipeline with accurate notes, lead statuses, and scheduled follow-ups. Meet established sales goals and activity expectations for outbound calls, talk time, quotes, and follow-up. Complete accurate applications and follow agency procedures and carrier underwriting guidelines. Coordinate with the service team to provide a smooth onboarding experience for new customers. Participate in training, coaching, call reviews, and team meetings. Requirements Active Property and Casualty insurance license, or willingness to obtain the appropriate license before selling insurance. Comfort making a high volume of outbound calls and initiating conversations with new prospects. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Confidence asking for the sale and handling objections. Persistence and the ability to stay productive through rejection and unanswered calls. Strong organization, time management, and follow-through. Ability to explain coverage clearly and make recommendations based on customer needs. Comfort using quoting platforms and customer relationship management systems. A coachable attitude and willingness to be accountable for activity and results. Dependability, integrity, and attention to detail.
