ASCP Environmental Services Technician - PRN

Join a dedicated healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest region as an Environmental Services Technician on a PRN basis. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will use germicidal detergents and cleaning supplies to sanitize patient care areas, equipment, and common spaces, ensuring compliance with health department standards.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect assigned areas including walls, floors, furniture, equipment, and restrooms.
• Handle routine, repetitive tasks with attention to detail and safety for patients and coworkers.
• Work under supervision, performing tasks efficiently and quietly.
• Rotate between various facilities as needed, including clinics and hospital settings.
• Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous housekeeping experience is preferred, especially in a hospital or healthcare environment.

Requirements and Skills

• Ability to learn and follow established policies and procedures.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to excellent customer service.
• Competence in operating common cleaning tools and equipment.

Physical Requirements

This role involves frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 35 lbs, and carrying supplies. Vision, hearing, and speech should be within normal range, with or without corrective devices.
