Physician - Department of Radiology, Emergency Radiologist (Open Rank/Track Faculty)

Position Overview The Department of Radiology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine/Wexner Medical Center seeks an Emergency Radiologist to join the Faculty. The candidate will be passionate about patient‑centered clinical excellence, dedicated to research and innovation, and committed to education. Work Hours and Shifts Traditional in‑person coverage 8 am – 5 pm, Monday – Friday, with no evening or overnight call responsibilities. Additional shifts available: Evening Shift 5 pm – 2 am, 7 days on, 14 days off; Overnight Shift 11 pm – 8 am, 7 days on, 21 days off. Remote/hybrid opportunities are available for the right candidate. Weekend and holiday coverage is limited and is shared equitably among faculty. Duties and Responsibilities Availability to work on‑site in the Emergency Department as needed, with some flexibility for remote shifts. Contributes to day‑to‑day clinical operations of the Emergency Radiology Division: Provides high‑quality patient care for the Emergency Service. Contributes to clinical and imaging operations related to the Emergency Service. Education, Training, and Faculty Development: Conducts and provides clinical instruction, lectures, seminars, and related educational offerings, both within OSUWMC and at regional and national sites. Collaborates with faculty and leadership to develop and refine medical student, resident, and fellow training opportunities. Serves as a mentor and sponsor of residents, fellows, and faculty in the Department. Research and Scholarship: Supports clinical and translational research activities and innovation. MAY serve as PI or Co‑I in grants and/or clinical trials. Serves on departmental, OSUCOM, or OSUWMC committees to represent research and innovation interests. Requirements M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent. Board eligible or board certified in Radiology (ABR, ABOR). Completion of subspecialty fellowship in a relevant Diagnostic Radiology discipline, or relevant experience in Emergency Radiology at time of appointment. Must possess or be eligible for licensure in the State of Ohio. Compensation and Benefits Salary commensurate with experience level; bonus and relocation assistance available.
