HVAC Service TechnicianPay: $23–$35 per hour + spiff and bonus opportunitiesThe HVAC Service Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the reliable operation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This position is responsible for delivering high-quality service by diagnosing issues efficiently, completing repairs accurately, and performing preventative maintenance to maximize system performance.The ideal candidate demonstrates strong technical expertise, professionalism, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. This role also involves collaboration with team members to resolve complex issues and uphold the company's standards for service excellence, safety, and reliability.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, service, and repair residential and/or commercial HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation equipmentPerform routine maintenance, inspections, and system performance checksRespond promptly and professionally to service calls and customer concernsCommunicate clearly with customers regarding system conditions, repairs, and maintenance recommendationsCollaborate with fellow technicians and team members to troubleshoot complex issuesMaintain accurate documentation of service calls, repairs, and maintenance activitiesFollow all safety procedures and industry regulationsMinimum QualificationsValid HVAC Technician certification or licenseMinimum of 5 years of hands-on HVAC experienceEPA certification for refrigerant handlingExperience servicing, repairing, and installing HVAC systemsValid driver's license with a clean 3-year driving recordStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilitiesSkills & CompetenciesAdvanced technical knowledge of HVAC systems and componentsStrong problem-solving and diagnostic skillsExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamDetail-oriented with a commitment to quality workmanshipDependable, professional, and safety-focused
