As an Armed Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment through professional communication and customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.36 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 08:45 AM - 05:15 PM Tue 08:45 AM - 05:15 PM Wed 08:45 AM - 05:15 PM Thur 08:45 AM - 05:15 PM Sat 08:45 AM - 02:15 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of financial institution facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or potential security-related concerns. Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorized entry, and follow site procedures for visitors, deliveries, and contractor personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and reporting requirements. Maintain accurate activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED. Be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
