About the Position

Job Title: ICU Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN license Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Client experience preferred. Experience in critical care and advanced skills in the care of post-thrombectomy and TPA patients. Experience with post-neurosurgery patients. Description: This position is for an experienced ICU nurse. The unit has a capacity of 12 beds with a patient ratio of 1:2. Unit staff includes secretaries and technicians. Equipment used includes Baxter pumps. The documentation system utilized is Cerner. Scheduling allows for self-scheduling based on unit needs. Flexible weekend shifts are required, with six weekend shifts per period. Traveling nurses may float to other ICU settings or step-down units. The position requires the capability to care for neurology patients. Advanced procedures performed in this unit include CRRT, bedside EVDs, and A-line monitoring. Candidates are encouraged to bring additional skills that foster exemplary patient experiences.
