Position: CT Tech

Location: Laguna, CA

Shift Details

• Mid 4x10-Hour (15:00 - 01:00)
• Night 4x10-Hour (18:00 - 04:00)
• Must be available to work 3 out of 5 major holidays
• Weekends may occur more frequently than every other weekend based on unit needs
• No on-call duties

Job Description

The CT Tech is responsible for performing CT scans and related procedures in an acute care hospital setting. The role involves working collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Tech
• Certifications required:
  
  
  • BLS
  • Fluoroscopy Permit
  • California state license
  • ARRT certification
• Must be able to provide references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
• Must be open to floating to other nearby facilities as needed

Skills and Proficiencies

• Expertise in 3D rendering techniques including maximum intensity projection, surface shaded displays, and volume rendering
• Proficient in performing a variety of CT scans including:
  
  
  • Abdomen with/without contrast
  • Chest with/without contrast
  • Head and brain scans
  • Pediatric scans
• Ability to administer contrast media and maintain radiation safety standards
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred

The staff collaborates closely with interdisciplinary teams, including respiratory services and social services, to ensure comprehensive care for patients across all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics.
