30hop Restaurant & Bar in Lee's Summit, MO is hiring full-time Prep Cooks to join our kitchen team. Our kitchen team plays an important role in creating a great Guest experience. Our Prep Cooks help set the team up for successful service by preparing ingredients, sauces, and recipes, keeping products stocked and organized, and making sure the kitchen is ready for the day. We’re looking for a dependable team member who stays organized, works efficiently, and takes pride in preparing consistent, quality food. 30hop is a full-service American restaurant and bar with locations across Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska. We’re known for great food, craft beer, and a fun, welcoming atmosphere. Our teams are at the heart of what we do and help create a great experience for our Guests every day. Pay $15 - $22 per hour based on experience. Schedule & Availability Full-time, morning (AM) position Open availability is required Weekend availability is required Full-Time Benefits Available to employees averaging 30 hours per week or more: Paid Time Off beginning at two weeks annually, with additional PTO opportunities based on tenure Medical insurance options with 30hop Group covering 50% of employee premiums Dental and vision coverage options 401(k) plan with discretionary employer match for eligible employees Benefits For All Team Members 25% dining discount for you and up to seven guests Employee Assistance Program with free counseling sessions Craft Concepts restaurant discounts throughout Iowa, Omaha, Kansas City, and Missouri Employee appreciation events and celebrations What You’ll Do Prepare ingredients, sauces, and recipes for service Follow recipes and established preparation standards Portion and prepare food according to restaurant specifications Set up and stock food, ingredients, and supplies needed for service Properly label, rotate, store, and handle food Maintain food quality and consistency during preparation Keep prep areas, equipment, and surrounding kitchen areas clean and organized Restock ingredients and supplies as needed Complete assigned cleaning, inventory, and food-storage documentation Communicate with kitchen leadership and teammates to keep prep on track Support kitchen operations wherever needed Other duties as assigned What We’re Looking For Must be 18 years of age or older Previous prep cook or restaurant kitchen experience is preferred but not required Open availability, including weekends Ability to stay productive and organized in a fast-paced restaurant kitchen Strong communication and teamwork skills Dependable and attentive to detail Willingness to learn and contribute wherever needed Ability to stand and move throughout the kitchen for extended periods Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 40 pounds 30hop Restaurant & Bar is an Equal Opportunity Employer #J-18808-Ljbffr 30hop American Bar & Kitchen
