Specialist, Partnership Management Full DescriptionPosition: Specialist, Partnership ManagementEmployer: Pearson - School AssessmentLocation: Remote (flexible work-from-anywhere environment)Salary: $65,000 - $75,000The Specialist, Partnership Management supports School Assessment in the successful delivery and fulfillment of assigned program(s). This role requires being self-motivated, diligent, and able to meet business and project demands within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, whether responsible for multiple projects or one larger project within a program requiring multiple resources and functional integration. The Specialist spends considerable time communicating with customers and stakeholders (vendors, cross-functional teams, subcontractors) to ensure customer satisfaction, and anticipates opportunities and issues proactively while managing scope using project management applications and tools.Customer Relationship ManagementEstablish and maintain positive and productive relationships with internal resources and external customersProvide outstanding customer service, responsive and timely to questions, concerns, and requestsServe as a point-of-contact to the customer and cross-functional teams for day-to-day executionProject ManagementOwn project responsibility through the full life cycle (initiate, plan, execute, control, close)Maintain the project management plan, customer requirements, project schedule, and other documentationEnsure adherence to quality standards and review project deliverables; support implementation of SOWs and contractsManage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs, and implement approved actions to mitigate project risk eventsMeasure project performance, identify and quantify variances, perform corrective actions, and communicate results to stakeholdersAssist in the change control process, including tracking, writing scope documents, and gathering estimates and pricingBusiness Development & Financial ManagementSupport the Manager, Partner Success, with project and program level new business initiatives, including writing statements of work and change requestsSupport financial reviews and documentation to ensure contracts are maintained within budget and margin expectationsIdentify process improvement initiatives to reduce cost while maintaining qualityQualificationsBachelor's Degree desired or commensurate experience2-3 years of experience in a project management rolePMP certification or demonstrated understanding of Project Management Institute (PMI) principles preferredSignificant experience with customer service and project managementKnowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel, MS Project, Visio, and PowerPointSome travel requiredJ-18808-Ljbffr TrulyHired
