Please note that per our policy on hybrid/virtual work, candidates not within a reasonable commuting distance from the posting location(s) will not be considered for employment, unless an accommodation is granted as required by law.The Actuarial Analyst II completes projects and performs complex actuarial studies.How You Will Make an Impact:Pricing Strategies: Assist in the development and refinement of pricing strategies/studies to maintain competitive and profitable products in the Individual and Small Employer Commercial MarketsRating Models & Guidance: Build and maintain rating models; provide analytical insights and guidance to ensure accurate pricing for existing products and potential new market entries.Special Pricing Projects: Collaborate on special projects to support growth strategies.Regulatory Support: Work with internal teams and state/federal regulatory agencies to prepare rate filings and address policy updates, ensuring ongoing complianceCoordinates/directs special actuarial projects.Obtains, verifies, analyzes and models data including risk reporting and forecasting.Minimum Requirements:Requires a BA/BS degree and to have passed a minimum of three Society of Actuaries (SOA) or Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) actuarial exams and a minimum of 1 year related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.For candidates working in person or virtually in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $84,744 to $138,672Locations: California; Colorado; Illinois; New YorkIn addition to your salary, Elevance Health offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
