Oncology Sales Specialist - Tulsa, OK / Wichita, KS

Merck seeks an Oncology Sales Specialist to drive sales and market development in the Tulsa, Oklahoma and Wichita, Kansas territory. The role involves engaging oncology customers, educating stakeholders on oncology products, and achieving assigned sales goals through field-based activities and relationship building.

Responsibilities

• Attain or exceed assigned sales goals in collaboration with territory team members
• Engage key stakeholders to understand practice structures, identify needs, and build lasting business relationships
• Communicate patient-centered product rationale using approved messaging and resources
• Analyze market trends, drug distribution channels, and prescription patterns to develop territory strategies
• Coordinate seamlessly with cross-functional teams including Customer Team Leader, Key Account Manager, and Nurse Educator

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years sales experience, or high school diploma with 10+ years equivalent experience
• 2+ years oncology field-based sales experience selling to oncology customers
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a vehicle independently
• Willingness to travel overnight as required by the role
• Residency within or reasonable proximity to the assigned territory
• Knowledge of oncology treatment pathways, cancer staging, and multidisciplinary care models
• Proficiency in account management, customer relationship building, and market analysis
