What You'll Do

You will work closely with the Production Manager to provide services to the maintenance group and assist them in meeting the operating plan goals and objectives, as well as provide information and training to comply with all EHS rules and regulations. In this role, you will perform various problem-solving analyses in the areas of cost, manpower utilization and repetitive maintenance problems as required. By providing equipment reliability to produce acceptable quantity and quality of product you will be responsible for eliminating downtime where possible while maintaining high standards of safety and housekeeping.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of maintenance technicians, mechanics, and electricians.
• Schedule, assign, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and coordinate timely repairs to minimize downtime.
• Ensure all work complies with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements (OSHA, NFPA, etc.).
• Oversee spare parts inventory, vendors, and contractors as needed.
• Implement and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Maintain accurate records of work orders, inspections, and equipment history using CMMS software.
• Support capital projects, new equipment installations, and plant upgrades.
• Provide training, mentorship, and performance feedback to maintenance staff.
• Monitor and report on departmental KPIs (downtime, maintenance costs, PM completion rates).
• Accomplishes staff results by communicating job goals and expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems.
• Proficiency with CMMS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree/certification in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical, or Mechanical fields preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Climb and use ladders (Ability To Work In High Areas Comfortably Using Aerial Platforms), carry or maneuver 50+ pounds
• Twist, bend, stoop, or stand for long periods of time
• Have manual dexterity and excellent hand-eye coordination
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
