Electro-Mechanical Assembler

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring an Electro-Mechanical Assembler for our Medical partner in Salt Lake City, UT.

The anticipated hourly wage for this position is between $21.00 and $25.00 per hour. Hourly wage may depend upon experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, soldering, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and electromechanical components and assemblies. The ideal candidate will possess strong hand soldering skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow assembly instructions, schematics, and quality standards in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical and electromechanical components according to work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
• Perform hand soldering of electronic components, circuit boards, and wiring assemblies.
• Conduct functional testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of assemblies as needed.
• Read and interpret assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and basic electrical schematics.
• Utilize hand tools and small power tools to complete mechanical assembly tasks.
• Ensure products meet quality, workmanship, and performance standards.
• Accurately document production activities and maintain organized work areas.
• Follow safety procedures and manufacturing best practices.
• Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiency and product quality.
• Participate in cross-training opportunities to support additional manufacturing processes and advanced assembly operations.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Previous electro-mechanical assembly experience or formal technical training.
• Strong hand soldering skills (skills assessment may be required during the interview process).
• Ability to read assembly drawings and basic electrical schematics.
• Experience using hand tools and mechanical assembly equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license or ability to obtain one if required.

Preferred Qualifications

• IPC-A-610 and/or IPC J-STD-001 soldering certification.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing, medical device, aerospace, or precision assembly environments.
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience performing testing, troubleshooting, or repair of electrical assemblies.
