Test EngineerThe Opportunity:Test software following a formal automated testing method using various telephony and networking hardware spanning multiple hardware platforms. Perform baseline, integration, system, and regression level testing in support of research and development efforts. Analyze large log data sets and software test data while documenting results in a clear and concise manner.You Have:1+ years of experience with automated testing, developing and executing test scripts to perform system testing, and analyzing resultsExperience creating test cases and proceduresExperience developing with PythonExperience working within a DevOps environmentExperience using Python testing frameworks, including PyTest, unittest, nose2, doctest, Robot, tox, or hypothesisKnowledge of integrating testing processes into continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelinesAbility to test multiple lab environments following formal testing methods and manage discrepancy reports identified during testingAbility to perform system testing in support of various development effortsTS/SCI clearance with a polygraphHS diploma or GEDNice If You Have: Experience developing and building multiple lab environmentsExperience working in a Linux environmentExperience working in an Agile environmentKnowledge of SplunkKnowledge of Jenkins or other continuous integration frameworksClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
