We are looking for experienced Patient Schedulers to join our healthcare team and help coordinate patient care and services. In this role, you'll be responsible for scheduling and maintaining patient appointments/services, communicating with patients and families, and coordinating with healthcare staff, providers, and referral sources to ensure patients receive the care they need.

This is an onsite opportunity in Portland, OR.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule and maintain accurate patient care schedules
• Coordinate services with management and interdisciplinary care teams
• Serve as a liaison between patients, families, staff, providers, and referral sources
• Resolve scheduling and service issues professionally and promptly
• Complete assigned weekend/on-call coverage and administrative duties

Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED
• Patient scheduling and/or healthcare customer service experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Home health experience highly preferred
• HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) experience preferred

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM PST + 1 weekend/month
Pay: $20-$24/hr

Length: 800 Hours (Approx. 5 months) Contract to Hire opportunity (opportunity to convert to permanent employment upon successful completion of contract period).
