NEPA Planning Specialist / Environmental Scientist

L&A is seeking an environmental scientist or environmental planner for our NEPA/Planning practice. The successful candidate will support projects and task order agreements that require compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act. This is a full‑time position in our Columbus office, working directly with the NEPA project managers. Responsibilities Environmental and Planning Studies: Compile NEPA documents and supporting studies, including but not limited to social, economic and community impacts, underserved populations, Section 4(f) and farmland impacts. Public Engagement: Prepare public involvement materials (exhibits, handouts, news releases, mailing lists, etc.), assist in material distributions, and support public outreach activities. Qualifications Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in environmental science, planning, or an engineering‑related field, and 1‑3 years of environmental consulting or public engagement experience.
