Leads team members by demonstrating and providing advanced knowledge of job responsibilities.Essential FunctionsAssessments – Executive Physicals and Health Fit AssessmentsConduct stress tests, using electrocardiograph (EKG) machines.Trains new staff members and assigns daily schedules as neededRecommend methods to increase lifestyle physical activity.Explain exercise program or physiological testing procedures to participants.Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.Advises patients about nutrition and ongoing exercise regimens may teach classes and conduct research.Thoroughly and legibly documents in chart to be reviewed by providerFollows hospital and department procedures and policies.QualificationsEducationBachelor's Degree Exercise Physiology required, or bachelor's degree Kinesiology required or master's degree Exercise Physiology preferredExperienceExperience working in an acute care hospital/cardiac rehabilitation program 2-3 years requiredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Skillfully utilize and maintain specialized equipment, devices and computer program.Strong quantitative and analytical skills.Mentors and train staff.Knowledge of acceptable ranges of blood pressure, pulse, oxygen saturation and EKG and reports any abnormal values to RN.Strong customer service mindset.Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.Ability to work independently with only general supervision.Additional Job Details (if applicable)Remote TypeOnsiteWork Location75 Francis StreetScheduled Weekly Hours40Employee TypeRegularWork ShiftDay (United States of America)Pay Range$27.95 - $40.70/HourlyGrade6At Mass General Brigham, we believe in recognizing and rewarding the unique value each team member brings to our organization.
