Field Service Technician I

Overview Field Service Technician for Canon USA, responsible for routine maintenance of Canon-supported products, ensuring service and parts quality standards are met. Responsibilities Report product failure trends and serviceability issues to management, ensuring accurate documentation. Provide efficient, responsive, and accurate field/shop/on‑site maintenance to meet customer demands. Maintain all technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property assigned. Showcase strong customer communication and satisfaction skills. Maintain the performance of assigned machines. Facilitate performance that helps achieve branch/district overall metric targets. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. Basic understanding of internet environments and ability to complete the 120‑day introductory period and PDIF (Printing and Digital Imaging Foundations) new‑hire class. Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; ability to travel as required. Must obtain necessary security and/or other clearances to access customer premises. Capable of lifting 50 pounds and be active more than 50 percent of the time (walking, standing, stooping/kneeling). Compensation & Perks Hourly salary range: $19.00–$26.31.
