About the Position
Our client is seeking a Local CDL A Flatbed Driver/Yard Hostler to move trailers within the yard and support local delivery operations in Fort Worth, Texas. This is a long-term flex opportunity with an initial day of training before future assignments.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay rate: $26 per hour
- Schedule: Monday through Sunday, with shifts varying between days and nights
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Employment type: Long-term flexible assignment
- Work setting: On-site
- Start date: August 19, 2026
Job Details
- Route type: Local delivery
- Freight and handling: Heavy-touch operations requiring the ability to safely move heavy loads
- Equipment: CDL A flatbed and yard hostler equipment
- Primary operation: Moving trailers as needed within the yard
Key Responsibilities
- Safely move and position trailers throughout the yard.
- Support local delivery operations as assigned.
- Complete an initial day of training and remain flexible for future assignments based on operational needs.
- Safely lift, push, pull, and move heavy loads as required.
- Follow all applicable safety and operating procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
- 3+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Ability to safely lift, push, pull, and move heavy loads.
