About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 3 years preferred License: Must be licensed to practice in the relevant state at time of submission Certifications: BLS ACLS Must-Have: Comfortable taking care of occasional critical care patients Weekend requirement: Every other weekend Description: The Registered Nurse will work in a Medical-Surgical unit. This position requires a commitment to taking care of critical care patients when necessary. The nurse will work three 12-hour night shifts from 18:45 to 07:15. Candidates with a minimum of three years of experience are preferred. First-time travelers are accepted. BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Local candidates are accepted within a 50-mile radius. The position may require floating within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals. Requests for time off should be kept to a minimum, especially in the first two weeks of the assignment. All time-off requests must be pre-approved and documented prior to the start of the assignment. Expect to work on some holidays. Two supervisory references are required. Candidates must provide copies of their certifications.
