As a tight-knit, passionate, and forward-thinking team, we are committed to pushing the boundaries of UAV tech and making a monumental difference in a rapidly advancing domain.Role SummaryWe're looking for a Mid-Level QA Engineer to elevate quality standards across our drone hardware and software systems. You will own critical QA areas from writing detailed test cases and regression suites to expanding automated test coverage helping ensure our products deliver reliable, life-saving performance.What You'll DoDesign, write, and maintain detailed test cases for our software and hardware stackLead testing efforts for releases involving flight control logic, video latency, or UI changesWrite and execute automated tests using Postman or browser-based tools (e.g., Playwright)Help maintain a growing library of regression tests covering hardware and backend APIsInvestigate and document complex bugs with logs, reproduction steps, and root cause analysisCoordinate closely with engineering and FlightOps teams for hardware-software integration testingProactively discover new edge cases to strengthen and solidify our platformWhat We're Looking For2–4 years of experience in software QA or a related technical fieldStrong understanding of QA fundamentals, including test design, defect tracking, and regression testingHands-on experience with Postman, browser DevTools, and basic scripting or automation frameworksExcellent communication skills and a strong advocate for product qualityFamiliarity with drones, live video streaming, or hardware/software integration is a plusBonus: Experience writing automated tests in Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworksWhat We Offer:Competitive salary and equity packagesHealth, dental, and vision insuranceUnlimited PTO and paid holidaysOpportunity to grow with a mission-driven, innovative companyA collaborative and fast-paced work environmentPaladin Drones is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
