Float Phlebotomist

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team in McKees Rocks, PA. Job Overview Work schedule: Monday – Friday, scheduled hours vary between 7:00am – 4:00pm and rotating Saturdays. Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely. Process billing information and collect payments when necessary. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience. Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency (in lieu of work experience). Additional Job Standards Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Able to pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record with reliable transportation. At least 21 years old. Compensation and Incentives Float Incentive: Additional $2.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement. Eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan (quarterly bonus based on performance metrics). Benefits Employees scheduled for 20 or more hours per week: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
