Travel Physical Therapist - Outpatient

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for an outpatient position requiring a minimum of 1 year of experience and current BLS certification.

Job Details

• Outpatient physical therapy setting serving a patient population ranging from pediatric to geriatric,
• Standard schedule is Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm for a minimum of 40 hours per week, with some flexibility on days and times,
• 4x10 schedule may be available,

Job Requirements

• Active Colorado Physical Therapy license required,
• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required,
• Current BLS/BCLS certification required,
• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans in consultation with physicians, and administering a range of physical therapy modalities including manual therapy, hydrotherapy, ultrasound, traction, and therapeutic exercise,
• Therapist will instruct patients, families, and caregivers in home exercise programs and contribute to discharge planning,
• Role includes supervising and providing in-service training to PT aides, technicians, and assistants,
• Documentation of patient care services is required using facility charting systems,
• Therapist is expected to maintain equipment, adhere to infection-control protocols, and stay current with professional and regulatory standards
