All while understanding that together we are even better.All the benefits and perks you need for you and your family:Benefits from Day One: Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance, Life Insurance, Disability InsurancePaid Time Off from Day One403-B Retirement Plan4 Weeks 100% Paid Parental LeaveCareer DevelopmentWhole Person Well-being ResourcesMental Health Resources and SupportPet BenefitsSchedule: PRNShift: Day (United States of America)Address: 400 CELEBRATION PLCity: CELEBRATIONState: FloridaPostal Code: 34747Job DescriptionEnsures exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use, and that all equipment undergoes routine cleaning and safety checks.Notifies appropriate personnel when inventory is low.Educates patients and family members about MRI procedures, contrast use, and safety precautions, promoting comfort and cooperation throughout the exam.Positions patients accurately and comfortably using appropriate immobilization and coil placement techniques to ensure high-quality imaging.Prepares and administers IV contrast material following safety guidelines and monitors patients for adverse reactions.Performs and documents daily system quality control (QC) checks in compliance with departmental policies and regulatory requirements.Follows department protocols for patient identification, informed consent, and time-out procedures prior to starting exams.Maintains accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems.Performs high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols to ensure diagnostic image quality and patient safety.Reviews patient history and clinical information to confirm exam appropriateness and identify potential contraindications (e.g., implanted devices, metal, claustrophobia, contrast allergies).Screens all patients, staff, and equipment for MRI safety compliance per facility policy and current safety standards, including completion of required screening documentation.Operates all imaging equipment safely and properly, including scanners, injectors, and monitors, adapting protocols for patients of all ages.Other duties as assigned.EducationHigh School Grad or Equiv [Required]Associate [Preferred]Work Experience1+ years experience in radiology and completion of MRI training program [Preferred]Licenses and CertificationsAmerican Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) [Required] OR Registered Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist RT(MR)(ARRT) [Required] ANDBasic Life Support (BLS) [Required]Physical Requirements: (Please click the link below to view work requirements) Physical Requirements - Range: $31.86 - $59.27Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)Certain positions are subject to Florida Level 2 background screening, including fingerprinting, as required by state law.
