Phelbotomist

Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist for a client site in Boone, NC, working Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. The role involves performing blood collections, processing specimens, entering patient data, and delivering customer service in a diagnostic laboratory setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and other specialized testing
• Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately
• Prepare specimens for testing and process billing information
• Provide exceptional customer service and perform administrative duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
• Minimum 3 months phlebotomy experience or current certification
• Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Reliable transportation and flexibility for overtime
