Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Optometrist role based in Laredo, TX. The Optometrist will provide high-quality eye care services, including comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing and managing ocular conditions, and prescribing corrective lenses or treatments. Responsibilities also include performing pre-operative and post-operative care for patients undergoing surgeries such as Cataract Surgery and LASIK, as well as educating patients about their eye health and available treatment options. Qualifications Proficiency in conducting comprehensive eye examinations and diagnosing ocular conditions Experience in pre-operative and post-operative care, particularly for procedures such as Cataract Surgery and LASIK Knowledge of prescription of corrective lenses, contact fittings, and treatment plans Strong interpersonal skills for patient communication and education Attention to detail and precision in clinical care Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution Active state license to practice optometry in Texas Familiarity with the latest advancements in eye care technology and treatments
